Are Monkey Moon products hypoallergenic? Our toothpaste formula is designed by a dentist with a highly sensitised, allergy prone daughter, but we will never claim to be allergen free. We know that any substance can potentially be an allergen. Our formula is designed to be as minimal and effective as possible, free from common preservative and fragrance allergens known to cause contact allergic dermatitis, including: limonene, linalool, triclosane, sodium lauryl sulphate, parfum, fluoride. Essential oils are known to be the cause of some contact dermatitis reactions. Our charcoal toothpaste does contain organic peppermint oil. If you know you have an allergy to peppermint oil, please get in touch and we can manufacture a peppermint oil free version for you. Check out our ingredients for a comprehensive breakdown.
What makes Monkey + Moon sustainable? From our ingredients to our packaging, one of our goals is to be as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible. Our ingredients are sourced from family run, UK businesses. Mineral based and free from synthetic fragrance, essential oils, preservatives, fluoride and foaming agents, our formulas are 100% natural and free from EDC's, making them eco-friendly too. Our products use durable high quality materials, and our subscription refill service is designed to reduce deliveries and packaging.
Are your products plastic free? We have worked hard to ensure our high quality toothpaste packaging is 100% plastic free. Our toothpaste jars are made from bamboo, aluminium and glass. Our Tongue scraper and pouch is made from 100% copper and cotton. Our bamboo toothbrush handle is made from bamboo. All of our product packaging uses eco-friendly, plastic free solutions.
How long will my toothpaste last? We love that our toothpaste formula is completely free from preservatives and parabens. The mineral compounds in our formula are mostly dry ingredients, except for glycerine and aqua (distilled water). This means the toothpaste itself doesn't contain any ingredients which can "go off" as such. We recommend keeping your toothpaste sealed in your Money + Moon glass jar for up to three months (although the 85g formula is designed to last one month), and using the provided spatula. Simply order your toothpaste refill pouch and reuse your cobalt blue glass jar every month!
How do I clean my copper tongue scraper? Cleaning your tongue scraper couldn't be easier! Simple cut a slice of lemon and rub it all over the tongue scraper. This will restore the copper's shine. Remember to rinse off the lemon juice with dish soap and water!

RETURNS
What is your return policy? We’re sorry that you didn’t love your Monkey + Moon products. We want you to enjoy your chemical free mouthcare experience as much as possible. If for any reason you change your mind, we accept returns for unused and unopened products within 14 days of delivery. Send us an email with your name, order number and the reason(s) why it didn’t work for you at hello@monkeyandmoon.com Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for used or opened products due to hygiene reasons.

Does Monkey + Moon offer free shipping? Monkey + Moon offers free shipping to all orders within the UK above £30. Orders below £30 are charged at our standard rate.
Where does Monkey + Moon ship to? Monkey + Moon ships internationally.
When will my order ship? Delivered Monday-Friday. Orders with standard shipping are fulfilled and shipped within two working days. Once orders has shipped, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking info via email. It may take up to 48 hrs for tracking info to update. Can’t find the email? How often should I replace my toothbrush? There is no hard and fast rule, but we recommend replacing your brush when the bristles become splayed (usually around 2-3 months). Our refill subscription provides you with a free toothbrush replacement every quarter.
